Nut Free Chocolate Chip Balls

There are so many bliss ball recipes out there but they all seem to contain nuts which taste great but they aren't suitable to send to school. Even though these Bliss Balls taste naughty, they are quite wholesome and great for those with food allergies and intolerances.

This recipe is quick and easy snack to make, especially when you are feeling a bit peckish or you want to add a wholesome, nutrient rich treat to the kids lunch box.

These yummy Bliss Balls are jam packed full of minerals and nutrients such as potassium, fibre and copper which will give you that afternoon boost along with our Focus Pulse Point Therapy Roller and you will energised and focussed till the end of the day. 

These are dairy free, nut free, gluten free and free from processed sugars. Although not fructose free due to Medjool dates.

 You will need:

10 Pitted Medjool Dates

1/2 Cup of Pepitas

1/2 Cup of Sunflower Seeds

2 Tblsp Cacao Powder

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

1 Tbsp Cacao Nibs

3 Drops of Food Grade Peppermint Essential Oil 

To Make: 

Add everything to your powerful processor or Thermomix except for the cacao nibs. Blend on high power for at least 1 minute. Then add the cacao nibs and mix on a lower speed until mixed in. 

Grab approximately 1tblsp of mixture into your hands and roll into a ball. Pop these into the fridge (will last 2 weeks) or put them into the freezer.
